Dear Sir/Madam
YARNS – Community Knitting Project
DADAA’s ‘Community Knitting Arts Hub’ is a large-scale community knitting project event that will be run as part of the 4th Annual International Arts and Health Conference (http://www.artsandhealth.org/) and the Fremantle Festival 2012.
We will be setting up our community knitting arts hub at 125 High Street Mall (opposite Culley’s) from 28 Oct to 27 Nov, Wednesdays to Sundays from 11am to 3pm.
The whole community, including schools, community groups and individuals are encouraged to attend the free workshops throughout the month. You can join us for 5 minutes or for the entire day and as many days as you wish.
Participants can bring their own yarn or use material provided to create knitted pieces that will go towards wrapping the FreO Street Doctor vehicle at the end of the event. The FreO Street Doctor was chosen as a partner in this initiative as their values tie in with the mission and aims of DADAA and the Annual International Arts and Health Conference -The Art of Good health & Wellbeing.
Please contact me for more details or if you wish to book a place at the knitting hub.
Thank you and we hope that you can be part of this unique project.
Kind regards
